Northeastern State’s offense was limited to one run as Central Missouri swept the RiverHawks 7-1 and 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The losses drop the RiverHawks to 0-8 in MIAA play, and they are now 18-15 overall.

Raegan Edwards broke a scoreless game in the sixth for the RiverHawks in game one.  She hit a 0-1 pitch down the left field line for a double to plate Savannah Evans.

Evans and Drew Hawkins had a pair of hits for NSU in the loss.

The Jennies plated two in the first and added three more in the second inning.  After a pair of scoreless frames, UCM hit a two-run homer to center to extend their lead to 7-0.

In the nightcap, NSU didn’t record a hit until their final out in the sixth, where Evans hit a single up the middle.  Edwards followed up with a double as the team’s lone extra base hit.

Central Missouri (22-11, 6-4 MIAA) scored all their runs in the opening two innings, plating three in the first and one in the second.
