Southern Nazarene broke a scoreless match in the 99th minute to eliminate the RiverHawks in extra time, 1-0, at the GAC/MIAA Tournament Semifinal.

Northeastern State was held scoreless by the Crimson Storm for the second consecutive match as their season ended with a 9-6-3 overall mark.

A free kick near midfield with 1:37 remaining in the first overtime period led to a Crimson Storm goal.  SNU’s Juan Rodarte had the eventual match-winner on a shot from the right side of the box, and it cleared through the lower part of the far left of the goal.

The RiverHawks held the shot advantage through regulation but couldn’t organize an attempt through the 20 minutes of extra time.  Both of NSU’s shot attempts at the SNU goal came in the opening 45 minutes.
