Northeastern State’s Emilia Cosatto claimed her second consecutive MIAA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week award Wednesday.  

The sophomore earned her third win over a ranked opponent Sunday beating Drury’s No. 16 Nastasia Jedrychowsk 6-4, 6-2 in No. 1 singles. Cosatto also claimed a 6-2 win with Leah Gonzales-Edwards in doubles. 

In the spring, Cosatto has gone 5-0 and is 15-2 overall this season.  

Cosatto and the RiverHawks (4-1) will return to action Saturday at Southern Arkansas for a non-conference match.
