Coach Jackson has served as the men’s basketball head coach for five years. During his time, he has compiled an overall record of 107 wins; 60 were conference wins.

This season, he led the Golden Norsemen to a record of 22-5 with 13 conference wins and a Region II Championship for the third year.

“I am very grateful for this honor,” said Jackson. “It wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication from my assistant coach Blake Mills and all of my players.”

The men’s team is ranked number 24 in the National Junior College Athletic Association and features multiple NJCAA Players of the Week.

Julian Mackey and Always Wright were selected for the Region II All-Conference First Team.

The men’s and women’s teams compete in the Region II Division 1 Basketball Championship Tournament from March 8 through March 11, 2023, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the Rougher Village Arena.
