Tuition for in-state students at Carl Albert State College increased by 10.8% during the 2022-23 academic year, as revealed in the latest report, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Oklahoma residents paid $4,230 to attend the two-year public college this year, which is $390 less than the $4,620 charged in the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students were charged $8,707 in 2022-23, a 105.8% higher rate than residents. This amount represents a 3% increase from $8,454 in the previous year.

Approximately 96% of the undergraduate student body at the college are Oklahoma residents, while about 3% come from other states.

Data indicates that 93% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Carl Albert State College in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. A total of 278 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $2 million, and 54 students took out loans exceeding $266,277.

Among all undergraduates, 1,271 students received grants or scholarships totaling $8.2 million. Additionally, 256 students borrowed $1.6 million in federal student loans.
