There were 4,152 youth between the age of 10-19 who in the United States tested positive for COVID-19 during the week ending November 27, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Out of those who provided figures, 14 individuals were hospitalized and two were admitted to the ICU.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association stated that in the United States, children represent about 9 percent of all COVID-19 cases. The Mayo Clinic points out that children of all ages can contract COVID-19 but most don’t become as ill as adults and some show no symptoms at all.
